At MacDonald Financial Solutions, we sell simplified issue life insurance to homeowners concerned about making their mortgage payments in the event of death or disability. We also provide retirement income, savings strategies, and debt elimination plans. No cold calling—we work with clients who have requested information, meaning you’ll always be talking to qualified leads.

 What is a 1099 Position:

As a 1099 independent contractor, you will have the freedom to run your business independently. This is a 100% commission-based position, meaning you’ll earn a large percentage of each sale. We provide mentorship, access to warm leads, and opportunities for bonuses and advancements, but how much you earn depends on the effort you put into growing your book of business and maintaining client relationships.

 What Does It Mean to Be an Independent Agent?

As an independent agent, you’ll be responsible for:
- Contacting prospects
- Qualifying leads and setting appointments (over the phone or Zoom)
- Building personalized insurance packages
- Answering questions about coverage and carriers
- Growing and maintaining your own book of business

You will have the opportunity to sell various products:

- Mortgage Protection
- Debt Consolidation Plans
- Retirement Savings and Income Strategies
- Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurance

Compensation:

- Part-Time Agents: $30,000 - $60,000+ in the first year 
- Full-Time Agents: $80,000 - $190,000+ in the first year 

*(Income varies based on attitude, effort, and skill)*

Average commission: $600-800 per application. Full-time agents typically write 5 or more applications per week.
All licensed agents start at an 80% commission level and can go as high as 130%.
